About This Course

According to multiple residency program directors’ surveys and available data, the Personal Statement is an important factor considered by residency programs to extend interview invites and subsequently rank candidates.

Take advantage of having your personal statement reviewed and edited by an academic physician at a competitive price, and receive valuable feedback.

Course Details

1. Session Process

  • Send your PS and CV to dev@clinicalpracticeskills.org.
  • Two virtual one-on-one sessions with the academic physician reviewer.
  • Physician reviewer will learn and understand you and your journey.
  • Structural, content, and language Editing will be completed by the physician reviewer.
  • We will set up a subsequent 30-45 mins meeting to review the edited PS with you and discuss the need for further edits.
  • Another round of necessary edits will be completed by the physician reviewer and the final document will be emailed to you.
  • 1-3 days’ time for each revision.
  • Note: Limited slots available.

Disclaimer: This session will assist you with the editing and structuring of your own personal statement. We will not create a personal statement for you from scratch.

Ultimately it is your responsibility and decision on which document you share as a part of your application.
